Abon Touch reaches Japan’s Touch panel market by attending to FineTech

FineTech, the well-known international expo, was held in Japan a couple of days ago.  Abon, with its partner Maruzen Chemicals Co., Ltd joined in this exhibition by displaying high-temperature-process, five-wire resistive and capacitive touch panels. Abon and Maruzen Chemicals expect that this will start to affect Japan’s existing touch panels market which is dominated by four-wire resistive.

The four-wire resistive technology has been widely applied and is the mainstream in Japan’s touch panel market. Because of Japan controlling the primary source of touch panel materials- ITO film and ITO glass - and adopting vertical strategic alliances, the mutually beneficial deals turned out its four-wire resistive touch panel industry with superior advantage.

James Fang, the CEO of Abon had said “Most Japanese customers have high-level requirements on the after-sale cost of medium to large size touch panels especially concerning the durability. Abon’s five-wire resistive overcomes the disadvantage of four-wire in durability. ” In FineTech, Abon focused on the difference between five-wire and four-wire resistive, and looked forward to promoting the advantages of five-wire resistive. During the exhibition, Abon demonstrated the application of touch panels in 7” to 21”size POS for restaurants or public places. Attending this exhibition was the first step that Abon approached to Japanese customers, and Abon foresees to influence the Japan’s touch panel market profoundly soon.
